  1. Do you have a favourite app & website in terms of the design and user experience?
Pinterest – in my pinterest life I have beautiful clothes, an original well designed interior and do fun and educational craft activities with my kids. My real life is slightly less well ordered

  1. Which industries, in your opinion, tend to deliver the worst user experiences, and why?
Holiday accommodation e.g. private cottages and villas usually require opening and closing hundreds of examples, poor comparison facilities, and availability checking only after you’ve done all the leg work and then find out it’s not available the weeks you want to go.
  2. What has been the greatest game changer in the UX and usability sectors over the past 10 years?
Has to be touch – when scrolling became fun!
  3. What do you think are the biggest challenges companies face utilising UX?
Speed – things that look nice and make your brand look innovative and contemporary can slow you down. Customers are impatient to get to the content.
  4. Do you have any UX pet peeves?
So many! But retail sites that don’t have PayPal probably annoy me the most – don’t make me get off the sofa to find my purse!
  5. If you could have any super power what would it be and why?
I’d be able to cycle from home to work in under an hour (it’s 55 miles)
